Hi! Nice to see ya here on my art site :-). The very first time I picked up a paint brush was shortly after moving to Nashville. A few broken guitars were gathering dust in my garage and begging for a new life. That's exactly what happened when that old 6 string became my canvas in my first art class. As acrylic paint, old photographs, sheet music, pop tabs, ribbon and lace created the perfect "Guitar Relic", I knew I loved mixed media as much as guitars!

Soon I noticed a trend start to surface, in that the songs I had written started coming to life in a whole new art form. I then began painting with intention, listening to my songs and painting with the music in my head, feeling the emotions and watching that translation onto my canvas.
